No less than 2 restaurants stand for excellent cuisine in Steeg: the Wirtshaus and the award-winning "Postamt" restaurant.
Both restaurants are characterized by high quality standards and an appreciation for regional products.
The kitchen team relies primarily on ingredients from our fish and hunting grounds, the family herb garden, and Tyrolean suppliers. Because the Post makes a strong culinary case for the region, we are of course among the nature park hosts of the Tyrolean Lech Nature Park.

The wirtshaus in Steeg
The Wirtshaus restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with its corner benches and seating niches. Here, hotel guests enjoy daily changing menus. Guests who visit the Wirtshaus exclusively can have breakfast here and dine à la carte. The menu features dishes such as Post-Pfanne with pork medallions or fine Lechtaler Käsespätzle. Seasonal influences give impetus to the cuisine, such as wild herbs in spring and mushrooms, berries, and game in autumn.
You can also request the Wirtshaus for celebrations. For larger celebrations, we recommend the Postalm.

- small afternoon snack: warm or cold refreshment, sometimes sweet, sometimes hearty.
- 4:00 – 5:00 pm Post tea time: celebrate the pleasure of tea with us.
- 6:30 – 8:30 pm 3 menus to choose from – with a vegetarian option – in 5 courses incl. an abundant salad buffet
- Special features: Post Sunday drink and (partly for an extra charge) culinary events for hotel guests at the Postalm
A surprise menu in the gourmet restaurant can be booked for guests with half board for an additional charge. Please inquire with us in good time.

The taste nuances of the different wines can be an ideal complement to the menu. Hotel director Martina has trained as a sommelière and is happy to provide tips on suitable wines.
